Thurs., May 5: Clarksburg, WV to Oakland, MD

Dick called from Oakland to say he rode 65 miles in 6 hours, 50 minutes. The steep hills of WV slowed him down (9 degree slopes). He is heading to Cumberland, MD and the C & O Canal.
