Tuesday March 28: San Diego to El Cajon

Interesting first day. Morning coffee at San Diego City College. As a former college professor I felt very comfortable walking around the beautiful campus. For all anyone knew, I'm a new faculty member. Took the ferry Coronado, met an 86-year young bike rider who brought me to the beach and took my picture as I dunked my wheels in the pacific. Also met a 78 year-young rider who helped me thru parts of San Diego. More later.

Now at the home of the Woodland's in El Cajon - Steve showed me part of the hilly route I'll be doing tomorrow. Kathy made a great supper. Almost better than home. Thanks Kathy and Steve and son Chris.

In the last couple days I have done the three common types of posting to my blog:
1. A text post - by going to www.blogger.com
2. A photo post - by using the "hello" program
3. An audio post - by using my cell phone out on the road
This is so coool.
